I still find Theophilus London a rather mysterious kinda figure. I think it's because I don't recall ever seeing him without his sunglasses being all cool and aloof and shit. Anyway, I am really digging Dave Sitek as Maximum Balloon. Last time it was Little Dragon, and this week it's with the aforementioned Theophilus London featured in this groovy little number, appropriately entitled 'Groove Me'.
Jangly and nostalgic, it's a song that should be played in the late afternoon as the drinks keep you cool while the party heats up and the sun goes down. In that setting, it's the kind of song that you dance around to as you're warmly aware of how much fun you're having in the moment. Sweet. Check it:
